There is some speculation that the last 'modem' update late last week has introduced some issues with our current 'old code' and this wasn't experienced by the Shaw test group as they were already using the code we will be getting this week, at least that seems to be the 'optimistic' outlook. With any luck, all of the 'new issues' we have been experiencing since last Thursday should be gone once the latest code makes it's way into our boxes. Everyone should have the code by the end of the week if all goes well.

As I posted earlier, the next code release following this one is already being used by the Shaw test group so that one should be sent to us in about 6 weeks or so if the 'schedule' is 'regular' as has been suggested.

My system shows an update this morning at around 3 am.

I have new portal software with dashboard, but no gateway update yet.

It is the place to post comments and questions for anyone who has received the latest code update starting today. I'm still waiting for it but at least the reports are coming in that it has begun showing up.

I (luckily) checked my NHL schedule only to find Shaw had not updated their schedule. I showed Panthers at Devils recording on TSN2 (that I programmed), @ 16:00. I opened the recording to find it wasn't the game, I checked the Gateway schedule and founf "To Be Announced" 4:30-7PM "THE GAME".

If I had been out or watching something else the game wouln't have been recorded, not acceptable!

Reports indicate some users have begun to receive new firmware for Gateways/Portals. Please migrate discussion to this following new thread if you've already received the current major update for Shaw Portals and Gateways.
