No signal on 32-1 in Windsor. Was on about an hour ago but don't see it now.

I'm using a 7 month old LG TV and it doesn't show any program info either. I do see it in TSreader... I wonder why it won't work??? :(

TVO Windsor is still in 480i.....I wonder if they will ever go HD????

Imagine my surprise when on last Friday and Saturday the moment I tuned onto CH 19 my receiver shut down. It restarted automatically (rebooted) OK but the moment CH 19 popped up, off it went again. It can't be the receiver because it doesn't happen on any other channel.

I am not absolutely sure but the problem seems to have been related to the EPG data stream because today there is no EPG and no automatic shutdown.

Has anyone else had a similar experience?

I've seen similar issues with my CM7000Pal DVR. There is no doubt in my mind that corrupt PSIP data can play havoc with some tuners.

Until very recently, the TVO PSIP info (specifically trying to display the EPG) would cause my Samsung Plasma to loose all EPG info for other channels. That behaviour stopped when they at least corrected the mapping issue.

So yes, it would seem that bad PSIP data can indeed affect things that it shouldn't.

Same thing happens every time, if I leave the Zenith DTT-901 Convertor Box on WBBZ for a long time, say overnight. The instant ya attempt to change the channel, the DTT-901 reboots instead. Once it reboots it's fine, until next time. Have only seen that happen on WBBZ, which doesn't have any guide info.
I'll try leaving it on TVO overnight sometime, see what happens in the AM.

tried this the other day. Left the DTT-901 on TVO overnight. Turned the TV on in the AM, and changed channels on the DTT-901. No Problem noted. So, still have only seen the DTT-901 reboot while changing channels from WBBZ to something else. Wierd.

I noticed "Thank you for Smoking" was presented in wide screen with the correct aspect ratio on "Saturday Night at the Movies". This is a big improvement over the letter-boxed 4:3 broadcasts they have shown since the transition.

TVO has been in HD long before the digital conversion. However, only Rogers Cable offered the station in HD. I'm sure we'll still see 4:3 SD movies on TVO for some time to come...

TVO 19.1 shows up on my LG 42PC5D plasma as TVO with program info but TVO crashes the tuner often and results in a tuner reset (pauses for about 3 seconds). TVO is not the only offender that crashes tuner on my LG. CFTO-HD used to do that from time to time. It might have something to do with the default sound track.

My 2 Samsungs (A and B series) show 19.1 but no channel call sign, no info, no nothing. I have latest firmware for the newer B540 LCD.

I hope the situation gets rectified. TVO is a great channel.

Is TVO in HD in London and Chatham??? I've been in contact with TVO and they say that they are 90% certain they will have an HD feed down to Windsor sometime this month, assuming they can repair the break in the feed between Chatham and Windsor. TVO in Windsor has been in 480i SD from day one of digital conversion....bummer. I love this channel.

Yes, TvO in London is 1080i (HD) most of the time.

Chatham is in HD usually but it is also still having the problem of lots of signal but "No Signal" if this is happening here but not in London than it may have something to do with trying to get Windsor going properly.

In 1080i HD, complete with program guide!!!! They beat out CBC!!!!:D

But it seems that Windsor is plagued with the Chatham issue. Looks like a loss of origin transmission and then the channel goes blank, depsite coming in at 100% on my HDHR3.

It's been back to 480i with no EPG here in Windsor since at least this morning.

Was that way last evening too.....I think they are working out the dropout problems I was noticing they had on their audio when they were in their HD feed.

Still nothing for Saumsung A & B series HDTVs.

Nothing is Call Sign, PSIP data that is.

It's a shame as TVO is one channel I'd appreciate reading up on what they are showing...

Is anyone having periodic issues with TVO 19.1 in Toronto? I'm in Stouffville (about 35km north-northeast of downtown) and the last few weeks TVO alternates from full power (SNR 30) to completely gone - nothing in between. Anyone else seeing anything similar?

This started happening when I reaimed the antenna a few weeks back, but I have a hard time believing this could be it since most of the time it's coming in at full power, and I only moved the antenna 5-10 degrees.
