As a BYU fan, I am ready to throw my Shaw Direct subscription out the door and grab Bell now that BYU has an eight year contract with ESPN.

Can someone please confirm that the Bell US College Sports pack includes all ESPN and ESPN2 broadcasts not simulcasted by the Score?

Thanks, just want to make sure I do not have a faulty assumption here.

Historically this has been the case.

I've tried for four years with Shaw Direct. Their lack of interest shows it is not a priority with their bandwidth.

every few months i email them to inquire about a college sports package, i keep holding out hope that if we continue to ask, they'll eventually offer, especially with mp4 coming into play and the new satellite launching next year. if it doesn't come next year with those two things happening, i think we're sunk and i might have to look elsewhere.

I gave up today. I cancelled Shaw and lined up Bell TV. All for ESPN feeds for eight selected games. Shaw needs to listen to customers.

If anyone finds a URL to the Bell TV schedule for the US College Football package, please post it. Thanks.

I found some information on this website regarding ESPN programming of College football games.

http://mattsarzsports.com/football2011.aspx

I'm a new subscriber to the package and am still trying to understand what might be broadcast. So far everything I've seen has been related to ESPN ESPN2 , or ESPNU.

The game I wanted to see tonight was the Boise St Vs Georgia telecast on ESPN. Although it wasn't on bell's guide, I got to watch the first 20-30 minutes of the game, then the screen went to still photos of Calgary and environs.

Has anyone got any experience with this package? I can't understand why they would want to telecast a regional game but not this game of BCS relevence. ; the game was available no where else.

Does anyone know if the College Sports package will eventually be available on Bell Fibe? Currently it's only on Satellite

I can't believe how many Michigan games I've missed this year without the package. I bought it last year when it was $50 but at $102 this year (since they brought back college basketball) I passed as I thought that was too pricey. I wish they would sell the college football and basketball packages separately so it wouldn't be quite as expensive.

Another epic fail for this package. # 2 Oklahoma State vs Iowa State went to 2OT. They failed to show this game last night. It was a ESPN game (8:00 pm). They had an open channel. They did show the powerhouse dual of Toledo vs. Central Michigan. Hurray Bell.

I'll follow-up to my post of a year ago indicating I was getting this package. Quotes from prior posts are in italics.

This is a nightmare. I had this issue during the BYU-Saint Mary's basketball game over the winter. It was on the guide but went to scrolling photots 15 minutes in. I immediately called Bell and it took 55 minutes of chatting...and pushing...and screaming to get to speak to the right person who could wake up the person at the switch.

But the switch got hit. So we need to all call Bell immediately en masse in these instances in the future.

The game I wanted to see tonight was the Boise St Vs Georgia telecast on ESPN. Although it wasn't on bell's guide...

Be sure to check Score and other simulcasts. The most frequent reason ESPN games are not on the College package is that they are already on other Canadian providers.

Overall, for someone who has had every flea market contraption to get my games prior to this package being available, it was great.

But do take careful notes if using Bell. They throw every deal in the world at you to get your business. And you know the outcome - the first bill has the gross charges for your free PVRs, receivers and install but the offsetting credits are missing and the first bill is overstated by $1,100.00. It took me 5 months to get all charges clean but I ended up with all promised free hardware, programming and services plus $500 more of goodwill credits - but you need a log of reference and complaint numbers to get what has been committed to. Good luck.

Anyone wanting the College Football/Sports package, please call Bell and help educate.

I called today to make sure I am subscribed for Thursday's games. They are fairly sure that there is not games until Saturday.

Would love to see the ESPN games Thursday and Friday! Numbers may help.

Every time I call I get different info. I called twice earlier in August in order to get the package but the info was not available yet for the 2012-2013 season. They asked me to call later. Today, they tell me the package is not available on Fibe tv for the 2012-2013 season. I called the sattellite service, and they tell me the package is not yet available. This is terrible... I'm not abale to get a straight answer.
The main reason I switched from Videotron to Bell last June was to get this College Sports package. They told me it would be available on Fibe. But now it seems like it won't !

According to the printed flyers both Bell Satellite and Bell Fibe have the US College Sports package. I would just keep calling until you get someone that knows what they are talking about.

Baylor-SMU was televised by Fox Sports. Bell's college package only carries games by ESPN.
