I am interested in getting the old WNGS now WBBZ Buffalo. Here in the Windsor/Detroit area we lost our RTV. I have an old Pansat 2500 and want to know if its up there and what freq.
Also is there a link of whats up there on the birds for FTA.

You can click the DrSat link, and use the channel search there.
You won't find WBBZ on FTA satellite, but you will find it's content.
Check out AMC3 87W C-Band, RTV, MeTV, This Tv are all available there.
On AMC9 83W Ku Band there is RTV and This Tv.
Sensing a trend, Buffalo's WGRZ is due to drop it's RTV Subchannel in September also.
From your comments, sounds like Detroit already did?
Luckily RTV is available elsewhere.

Ever since the format change, Ch. 2-3 Buffalo (RTV) has been a waste for me.
I suspect that they have been losing adv. revenue left and right on that Channel since that time.
Speculation is that clarity on Ch. 2-2 will improve once 2-3 is dropped due to the extra bandwidth.

Ever since the format change
What format change?
RTV has nothing to do with WNGS / WBBZ if that's what ya meant.

Ok thankyou all for the info.I dont have C band have the old Pansat and would need a 33" dish for it for ku I think. We already have This Tv which is cool, but we lost RTV to LWN I think it stands for Life Wellness Network.I really miss the classic tv.
