Thanks for posting this... it was up and then quickly pulled down! As a Jets fan, curious that so few games are televised, and hoping that more land on TSN2 and CBC nationally.

I've heard that the NHL will be releasing the national broadcast schedules officially on Thursday afternoon.

Yes, would make sense, they have usually been released on a Wednesday in years past, however with Rick Rypien passing away, I think that deserves a bit more press than the schedule right now. If i remember last year, they added some Senators games later (when the Versus games were added).

It will be interesting to see what happens if the NBA lockout continues... With Versus getting 90 games now, I would imagine they will take games on Mondays/Tuesdays/Wednesdays similar to the extra games last year. TSN2 could add these games easily alongside their normal TSN Wednesday game. Since TSN2 usually has a Raptors game on Wednesday, that could be done very easily.

I think that between TSN/TSN2 most Versus games will be aired, regardless of the NBA lockout. Some of the Monday (after NFL season)/Tuesday games would fit on TSN for sure. TSN2 and Sportsnet can always trade Raptors games around.

The schedule is coming Thursday afternoon at 2pm ET. It will probably include the Versus games that TSN plans on airing and maybe some additional Jets games. We may also see replacements for Pierre McGuire and Craig MacTavish announced.

Pierre already got replaced with the other Pierre.

Well LeBrun won't be doing color commentary.

Lebrun was just brought in to do hits for SportsCentre and TSN Radio; as well as a new segment at the intermission with James Duthie, Darren Dreger and Bob McKenzie (similar to CBC's Hotstove). He isn't replacing McGuire or MacTavish.

Where on the Jets website does it say TSN has the rights? It actually says the opposite right now from what I can see... Two bonus hockey games have been added to the TSN2 schedule due to the NBA lockout. Toronto Raptors games were originally scheduled.

November 2, Flyers-Sabres
November 7, Islanders-Bruins

The November 7 game is already on the NHL Network in Canada as originally planned but only in SD as usual. The bonus with it being on TSN2 now is that it will be offered in HD too!

These will be simulcasted Versus feeds as TSN2 does simulcast most of their games. The only one not televised so far this season was the opening night Flyers-Bruins game because the CBC had exclusivity on that night. There will be more bonus games if the NBA lockout continues.

A game has been added to the TSN2 schedule. The Flyers-Sharks game on Tuesday, February 29 at 1930h Pacific/2230h Eastern. It will now be part of a doubleheader with the scheduled Kings-Wild game starting three hours earlier.

With tonight's scheduled Devils/Rangers game being replaced with the Daytona 500 tonight on TSN2, will this game become available on NHLCI? Somehow I doubt it.

It is listed on the Rogers NHLCI Extra channel 450 as airing on station 457 (SD)/492 (HD). My guide doesn't show it listed though, probably because it is a late addition. It is also showing up on NHLGCL, whereas if the game was on TSN2 it would be geoblocked.

Update: Yep, its there. For once TSN, Rogers and the NHL got it right!
