Sonos today introduced the SONOS PLAY:3, a compact, all-in-one Sonos player which will sell for $329. The new player is a smaller version of the ZonePlayer S5 which has been renamed Play:5. The Play 5 sells for $449

The S3 has 3 speakers built into it vs 5 for the Play 5

Revised Android, iPhone and ipad apps were also released to allow users to control the S3.

Would this be a good purchase for listening to music in the garden ?

I can get wireless signal in my yard and from the reviews I have read it sounds as though the sound quality and versatility will suit my needs.
