Anyone else think this season of True Blood was the worst yet? Kind of diverting from Vampires to shape Shifters, Witches, Werewolfs and Fairies.....All over the place.
Anyway - I hope season 5 will be better.
Cheers

This season was absolutely torture to sit through. I only stuck with it because...I'm not sure why. But I think that's it for me.

My understanding was that the seasons were based on the books, with each season being one book.
If so, they have a ways to go to run out of ideas. Bringing the ideas from the books to screen and making it good viewing is another discussion.... :)
TKG26 2011-09-14, 09:58 AM It was an interesting season thats for sure...
Most memorable quote from the finally:
Pam vents: “I am so over Sookie and her precious fairy vagina and her unbelievably stupid name. F*** Sookie!”
pam had a couple good ones:
"The true death to save Bo Peep? I don't f'n think so."
spec seven 2011-09-14, 11:17 AM Next season will be better when Russell Edgington returns to retake his rightful place as vampire king.
Ham.Clan 2011-09-14, 12:18 PM I agree, this season was terrible.
CenturyBreak 2011-09-14, 07:22 PM Pam's deadpan ennui was more entertaining than all the rest of the characters' angst and lust combined!
"Blah, blah, vampire emergency, blah..." :D
dezzpayne 2011-09-20, 12:55 AM Regardless of how the books played out the series seems to be going down this road where "normal" folk are the minority. I'm not really enjoying how they keep adding new creatures of lore. It's getting very crowded. Maybe they will add demonic leprechauns and unicorns for season 5.

Indeed! Picking right up where season 4 left off! What a let down, IMO.

The author of the article just got tired of Sookie's romance with Eric, Sam Merlotte's insignificant brother, Arlene and Terry's possessed baby, etc.
Another episode and a big Yawn.........
I'm going to give it one more episode then I might be removing it from my PVR list.
If it continues this way - don't expect another season. My .02
Danster 2012-06-25, 09:50 AM I didn't see last night's episode but I think last weeks had jumped the shark.
