I'm reading and hearing that the picture on the 4000 is a little soft (as opposed to sharp).

Is that your experience (knowing that you don't have a reference to compare)?
How far is your PJ mounted from your 115" screen?
Is it a 1.0 (no gain white) or a grey surface?
And at that distance, how are the black levels?

My only suggestion for a space like that is a dual sub set up.

I know the pics make the room seem somewhat bland, but it's empty right now. Can't wait for gear to go in. The dual sub idea is noted. My wife does not enjoy loud sound and bass, so I have to keep that in mind.
