Whatever all this is, I really don't like it all. It has wiped out WTVG RF13, WNWO RF49 and WADL RF39 and brought nothing.

your pain is my gain?

The usual culprits come to mind regarding what Kanebra described.

CKCO 13 taking out WTVG.
WDLI 49 (typically) or WNYO are taking out WNWO.
WIVB 39 taking out WADL. Happened here last night where WIVB was watchable for a time.

Last night's conditions were real bad. Lost around 3/4 of all local channels here and for long periods to.

Good job guys on RF40 there in the London area. One more to look for is PBS WKAR from Lansing.

I picked up weather from Cleveland, and that's about it. Now looking to the east and see what I can grab that way.

With temps cooling fast at night, I'll try earlier tomorrow to see if that improves the catches...

No not Greece, Athens, Ohio. I finnally pulled in something new for me. It seems to be getting harder and harder to pull in something new. I was able to pull in rf 27, 20-1, 20-2, 20-3 a PBS affiliate from Athens, Ohio. Approximate distance from London of 260 miles. Just bought a Sony Led Kdl40ex521 and the college football on WKYC and WEWS Cleveland yesterday looked great. Too bad it's only tropo.

agreed Bark,

after not getting much new tropo reception, I was able to pull this one in yesterday,
35-1 WOHL-D1 RF35 ABC, 35-2 WOHL-D2 CBS from Lima, Oh.

This adds on to my other new pick ups in the last two weeks, with WHIZ RF40 Zainesville Ohio and WFWA RF40 Fort Wayne Indianna.

Yep Bark, I've mentioned that before. New catches are getting fewer and farther between. Lots of previous ones showing up though.

The other night, I caught the Detroit/Windsor market quite well. I wish I had written them down in my log but I figured I'd remember them. All of the Detroits I have seen before but not the CBC or A from Windsor.

Caught a couple of new ones (for me) from the Saginaw/Flint area as well as CFTO and CBLFT from TO.

As I'm typing this I caught the WHIZ. Cool.

Happy DXing while it lasts.

WDCQ on RF 15 and WEYI on RF 30 paid me a visit about 5 minutes ago down near the Bridge.

I am pointed towards 330 degrees and according to my TV Fool (http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=29&q=id%3d14f3c25ae64e16), WDCQ is at 341 degrees. I know that there is a chance co-channel interference with WEWS but I wonder if I had a CM 7777 if I could get a semi reliable signal of WDCQ. Anyone in the area have any thoughts? The same goes for WEYI, although TV Fool says co channel on RF 30 but can't seem to figure out what station is causing it...

Also saw WEYI and WDCQ here at ~100mi and 113 miles respectively. In fact it was hard to not get WEYI for a good while it was so strong. All of the Flint market [except RF16,22,26] have come in at times within the last week.

Few others not seen in a while tonight:
WCMV 27-1 PBS RF17 from Cadillac - 220.4 mi
WBKB 11-1 CBS RF11 Alpena - 185.9 mi
WPBN 7-1 NBC/ABC RF47 Traverse City - 240.4 mi
WISE 33-1 NBC/FOX RF18 Ft. Wayne - 150 mi
WXMI 17-1 FOX RF19 Grand Rapids - 154 mi

CBEFT analog 35 repeater locally was no match for WOUC PBS from Cambridge, OH [154.8mi] and WOHL-CD from Lima, OH [125.6mi] both of which briefly showed up here on Mon.

Re: co-channel/distance
I think WDCQ is just too far away even with the best gear to get on a occasional basis in Windsor. WEWS tends to dominate the region even if it's too weak to decode. TVFOOL's co-channel for WEYI is likely from WBNX. For such a strong station power wise, WBNX is actually not receivable here without tropo help. Some signal can be seen but it's way below what's needed for a decode.

To add to last night, WDIV wound up disappearing around 11:45. W47DL also went blank, even though it showed a solid 4 bars. It came back around midnight. I went to bed before WDIV came back, so not sure when it did.

Hey Mark, finally saw rf 40 out of Fort Wayne at 5:30 am this morning. Last night at 11 pm I picked up rf 38 47-1 fox, 47-2 metv out of lansing for the first time. I few minutes before that rf 40 was peeking at snr 12 pointed at lansing but it wouldn't go any higher. Another close call. It was a good weekend with the three new catches, Fort Wayne, Lansing and Athens, OH. Funny thing, I had 18-1 tvo on my sony so it saved whiz as 40-1 and then when I brought up the tvgos it showed it as a cbc 40-1 with complete cbc listings. I don't know of any cbc 40-1 in the area, so it must have something to do with the old analog 40. Strange.

A new one I got for a while this AM:
WNDY Ch23 RF32 from Indianapolis.

I woke up Sunday morning at 8:30, flipped on the tv and noticed at the top of 31-1 it said ION instead of City. My first thought was the EPG was giving me a false listing but then I noticed listings for 31-2 and 31-3 also. The screen was blank so I fine tuned the antenna and their it was, my first ever sighting of ION Detroit 31-1, 31-2 and 31-3. It came through for over an hour. I spun the antenna around and confirmed that City was off air and stayed that way until just after noon. I didn't think I would see the ION until they moved to ch 50 but sometimes you just get lucky. The weather is not looking good so this could be my last new find till spring. I am currently at 236active digital channels viewed.

Cleveland and Detroit were booming into Kitchener overnight. And I managed to pick up a new station (for me): CHWI (RF 16, CTV2, Windsor).

Also interesting to note that WEWS has a new sub-channel (LWN). It was featuring an episode of Steven & Chris (a CBC production).

Even more tonight. Many of the local stations have been wiped out.

Picked up another new one. WYZZ FOX 43-1 RF28 from Bloomington, IL (Peoria market) at 354.93 mi or 571.20 km
