I thought I had pretty much decided on getting HDHomerun for OTA streaming, but after reading more about the Slingbox PRO-HD, I am not sure. I know the output quality on HDHR is superior, but Slingboxes seem to be more versatile. They are also more widely available so I can purchase them at B&M stores where returns are not a problem. My main objective is to stream OTA on my own network without leaving a PC on. Any feedback/comments would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have an HDHomeRun.

You don't have to have any computers on. You just plug in your antenna coax source and connect the LAN wire from your HDHomeRun to your router. It's always on. And whenever someone turns on a computer there are up to two tuners available (if you have the most common dual HDHomeRun).

Love it!

Can't compare because I don't have the Slingbox. I do know that if you want to do this wirelessly, you'll need a top-of-the-line wireless router. HDHomeRun does not promise any wireless perfomance. But it might work.
