Connected got delayed because of an OHL playoff game (it went to OT).

So that's the explanation. Connected shouldn't have given the result of the match they were about to broadcast but the show might have been pre-recorded. (I feel like I'm the only sports lover in the country who cannot understand the appeal of highlight shows like Connected). Anyway, I put RSO back on around 8.25 and they were still showing highlights from other sports. I tried again at 8.32 exactly and the Djokovic-Nadal final was 3-0 in the first set so I'm assuming they joined it in progress.

Raonic is seeded #26 for the Roland Garros Grand Slam which means he'll be playing lower ranked players for the first two rounds. The first match will be either this Sun, Mon or Tues. Doesn't look like Sportsnet will be covering the early rounds.

Frank Dancevic has also won all three of his qualifying matches and is in the main draw.

That is because TSN has the rights to the French Open (as well as all other Grand Slams). TSN & TSN2 will have extensive coverage of the tournament (over 100 hours), starting Sunday @ 1pm on TSN.

That's great news. Because the title of this thread is now not applicable to Roland Garros, I guess we'll need to start a new thread for TSN/Tennis.
Raonic isn't playing Sunday btw.

I think it would be better if a MOD would just change the title...
