I'm in Abbotsford (apparently where the transmitter is?) and I could never get it channel 66 either. I know my antenna has something to do with that, but still.
Their studios are in Surrey, but their transmitter is in Abbotsford. Try aiming your antenna at Sumas Mountain.

Here's an update from Northwest Broadcasters to include CBC/SRC:

Tuesday, August 30, 2011:

afternoon: CKVU analogue channel 10 goes dark (CKVU-DT digital remains on 47 until the next morning)
afternoon: CHNU's Victoria repeater on channel 21 flash cuts from analogue to digital

Wednesday, August 31, 2011:

00:02 CIVT 32 analogue goes dark, CIVT-DT digital moves from channel 33 to channel 32 right afterwards
00:30 CIVI on channel 17 flash cuts from analogue to CIVI-DT digital
some time during the day: CBUFT on channel 26 flash cuts from analogue to CBUFT-DT digital
some time during the day: CBUT 2 analogue goes dark
09:00 CKVU-DT digital moves from channel 47 to channel 33
afternoon: CHNU Abbotsford analogue on channel 66 goes dark in mid-morning and comes back as CHNU-DT digital on channel 47

Thursday, September 1, 2011:

some time during the day: CBUT-DT moves from channel 58 to channel 43

Still unknown is the timeframe for CHAN 8 analogue and CHNM 42 analogue to go dark while remaining on their present Vancouver DTV allotments afterwards (channels 22 and 20, respectively).

Is there any indication of how much power the new transmitters are using? I know some of them were saying they'd be bumping up the power.

The Industry Canada database has that info: http://www.user.dccnet.com/jonleblanc/Canada_TV_Stations/ but it will be interesting to see the sequence of events leading up to any ERP changes.

I'm out of town until September 6 while this whole transition is going on. When all is said and done, could someone please put up a post showing all the new channel numbers they are seeing? :)

I've been on a 6-month Shaw HDPVR trial but there may be some new HD channels OTA that I can get after the changeover that Shaw won't have yet.

Crazy how they both say signal 90% yet no signal. LOL

Same here, strong signal level 76%, no picture or sound.

I just did a scan and I only have 8.1/Global and 32.1/CTV in digital.

My TV stopped for a long time on 58, but I guess it couldn't get a lock on it.

42 analog seems to still be there, so is 17.

Did you mean CTV for 32.1?

CHEK's analogue signal on 6 seems to be down now.

CKVU's analogue signal on 10 also seems to be down with occasional flickers (might be from another channel 10 somewhere).

Confirmation on those?

Anyone notice anything weird with CBC 2.1? The picture quality seems to be a bit messed up?

Yes. Channel 6 seems to be down completely and channel 10 is quiet fuzzy.

CBUT-DT's signal is fine on 58.1 but from what I see the actual program, which is usually in HD, unfortunately appears to be upscaled from SD so it has some pretty dirty artifacts.

The program just changed to a different one, and again it is usually in 1080i 16:9 but is being upscaled from SD at 4:3 aspect.

I would guess that this is all part of the work being done for the CBC and SRC stations to transition.

Exactly. That's what I wanted to say. Thanks for putting it in words that I couldn't!

levibluewa Global has been working properly on 22.1 with no changes so it's the weather down your way I would guess.
