Watching this from Anacortes (LOS with Seymour, more or less), I noticed OMNI went off air at 12:01, then bounced on and off twice before waving analog bye bye for good at 12:02. CBC Analog, good ol' CBUT, went snow at 12:00:37. (sniff!)

Now awaiting the CBCs' return...

As to those Analog sets, don't forget the occasional E-skip from Mexico. We still have that.

Yep, it is worth noting that OMNI 42 analogue had an arrangement with CBC Transmission to use CBC's towers until the DTV Transition cutoff. This all makes sense.

Waiting for CBC to go back on the air to my crummy indoor tv antenna.

With tooth picks holding my lids open I can say there is one vhf station in my scans 43 and no 26.1 yet

Thanks MoreDB for the info. I get CTV2 on my Samsung TV now in addition to my PC tuners earlier. Signal is pretty weak here in the basement. Need more fiddling with the antenna while waiting for CBUT and CBUFT to come on...

Still waiting, BTW cable and satellites in Canada do not have CTV Two in HD.

1:22 AM - They're baaaaaaaaaack!!! Audio's a bit sparkly on CBUFT, but we'll survive for now.

Onmy last scan 26.1 pops up yeah and 43 I made right down to the very last scan 123am :)
And 43 is 1280 x 720 :( so is 26.1

They both look fine to me at this time :) nite all

Oh... CBUT-DT is up on ch.43 when I did a re-scan on 1:22. but wait... 720p? hm...

Yeah, because you guys are in more southern part of the Lower Mainland. I'm near PNE with south-facing basement. I'm lucky to be able to fiddle the antenna to get all 3 weak stations CITY/CTV2/CHMN at the same time. At least now that I get CTV with stronger signal it's one fewer station to consider.

All my local signal is from a tower bouncing it to me my antenna faces Seattle no tower no locals for me I feel your pain weather has in the past been hard on reception I will see as the next few days go by

Congratulations to jasonbyers7 and the CBC/SRC Vancouver team on getting CBUT-DT 43 and CBUFT 26 up and running this morning! Excellent signal strength and SNR on both! :)

At this moment 42.1 OMNIBC is showing a colour bar test pattern and 32.1 CTV is not lockable - it's BER (error rate) is too high for a lock.

I now even can't see the signal of 32-1, never get it after it switched to 32-1.

P.S. There're just too many channel I can "see" but can't get: 20-1 (OMNI), 24-1 (PBS), 26-1 (CBC French), 47-1 (JoyTV) and 49-1(CHEK)

I also can no longer receive CIVT 32.1 any longer. Was coming in quite strong after the transition, but it's completely dark for me out in Aldergrove at this time. Everything else comes in blazin hot.

I am getting a great signal for 17.1, it's nice to see their programming in widescreen HD.:D

I also have no sound for CHEK.

Still can't seem to get a good lock on 10.1 CKVU. Does anyone know what kind of power they are putting out?

The backside of the antenna just can't pull in enough signal to lock onto JOYTV.:(
