I'm wondering if my issues were tropo related? I read in the Lake Ontario tropo thread that many lost all of their Buffalo stations. Wonder if I got a bit of that too, and was strong enough to knock out WIVB. Seems to be back today, though has been cutting in and out.
You are probably experiencing ducting that can cause complete loss of signal on stations you usually watch and at the same time let you receive stations from the other end of Lake Ontario. Ducting is common in the spring and fall and reports in the 'tropo' thread show it is has been happening frequently for the past few weeks.

Looks like a new sub-channel is coming to WNYB.

Screen is black but it shows WNYB 26.4 - SD3.

nice, maybe it'll take on the holy roller vacated, with wngs 67-3 still dark.
leaving wngs 67-3 open for MeTV.

I just noticed that 67.3 is back up today. Daystar again!

The local Rochester TCT channel has gone the same way with the new 42-4. I notice that -2 has dropped quality to 480, so not really HD anymore but is still 6x9 format.

Has anyone noticed that TCT's analog translator, WBNF-CA channel 15 is off the air? I had it a few days back and now it seems to be gone. :confused:

I usually get the TCT station on 15.0. But tonight it's a Humphrey Bogart movie. Can't find it anywhere else on digital. Maybe it's that pirate Toronto station from Main & Gerrard.

Yes noticed analog 15 TCT off air.Maybe they are converting to digital on 16 or is it 15.

This explains why SUN 15 Hamilton has been so reliable recently....
