Next week is the 2 hour finale. If it's like other 2 hour finales in the past, one team will be going home at the one hour mark.

I don't remember them doing 2 hour finales in past seasons. I also thought they usually had a non elimination leg when there were 4 contestants before dropping to 3 and leading up to the finale. Good to see them mix it up a bit.

It's been many seasons since they had a 2 hour finale. Glad to see it return.

Ya, I must say I wasn't disappointed. I liked them on their previous season, but I found Kent too whiny this time around.

It was a good finale as far as that goes, but once again it all came down to "luck of the cab driver". there was nothing that the other teams did different than the winning team--except for trying to sell bikinis on the beach...not sure who came up with that one, but that would be tough.

Starting to think the results may be fixed. The bit with the taxi cab driver and the father-daughter team was beyond belief. The driver played his part too well.

Ya, selling bikinis to people already wearing bikinis seemed a little silly.

G&M were dead from the start of the second leg. The finale is always go go go.

Next season starts filming this summer with Fall '11 premiere.

I am surprised they didn't have the usual memory challenge, flashing back to the different legs of the race. That often gets teams stuck for a while. Instead they had the match this picture challenge.

Was disappointing that Gary and Mallory's taxi driver put them so far behind. I know it is all part of the game, but it is still unfortunate. I don't think it was rigged, just incompetence. Would have been better if they gave them cars to drive instead and let them sink or swim based on their own navigation skills.

I agree, let me buy some maps or ask people and drive themselves. It's less luck of the draw.

Almost always a cab driver costs one of the teams (in the final leg) any chance of finishing first and that is really too bad.

Also I too was a little disappointed that the memory challenge was missing...as follow the picture seemed a little too easy for the final real challenge. (especially had there been no wind)

It's too easy to predict after these many seasons that taxi once again is going to cause some team(s). I remember in one past season some team called ahead of time to arrange some good taxi driver waitin at the airport. I can imagine at most airports they won't let you pick your taxi driver but make you take the first one in line. In that case, and if you're so sure your driver is so incompetent I would try to change taxi as soon as possible, even if that means I pay for an empty taxi to get the next one. But I'm not there so I don't know the actual situation.

What was the point of the waxing except to cause pain to the guys. It looked to me that it was timed (IE: 2 minutes of waxing) so it was only a time waster.
