: 2010-11 NHL Centre Ice
leafplasma 2010-10-03, 06:34 PM Yes it is maddening as the CSR's have no idea. I have talked to two now and last time I demanded to talk to a supervisor. She also couldn't help me and finally said she would talk to support at NHL game center on Monday. I also emailed support and told them that the link where we should be getting a pin is telling us to order NHL CI which we already have. I just think that the website isn't set up to hand out pins likely till the regular season and the CSR's don't have a clue about that because A doesn't communicate with B.
oilking 2010-10-03, 07:27 PM I talked to Bell today and what they told me is go to www.bell.ca/hockeyonline and when the regular season starts we will be able to watch the games from the Bell website.
joe123 2010-10-04, 09:03 PM Is it possible to watch games through https://gamecenter.nhl.com/nhlgc/secure/gclsignup or only through Bell's website ?
Interceptor 2010-10-05, 09:56 PM That link looks like how we watched it last year. We just need the promo code. I've e-mailed bell a couple of times but no joy.
wingman75 2010-10-06, 10:23 AM Last year, you had to login to the bell.ca/hockeyonline (though I think it was 'tvonline' then) site. There was a code there that Bell provided that was good for a free subscription to NHL Game Center Live.
Once you had that code you could go to the NHL Game Center Live web site and subscribe to the one year service - there was a spot to enter your promotional code (promo code made it free).
All games were viewed at the NHL Game Center site, and you did not have to return to the 'tvonline' site for hockey - though you could (and still can) watch other content there.
** It may be different this year **

I have emailed, used the online chat and spoken to CSR's on the phone...none of them have any idea how to do this. The lat one I chatted with told me the website is broken and that it would be fixed by the end of the weekend. She also said that since the online portion is free(?) that it shouldn't be a big deal!!! As I explained to her it's not free as you only get it when you buy centre ice...more examples of useless Bell employees!!!
CanucksRock 2010-10-06, 11:16 AM Right off the website: "The package includes NHL Gamecenter LIVE™"
...so where is the promo code! I got it/used it last year, but can't recall where.
leafplasma 2010-10-06, 04:48 PM I talked to Bell today and what they told me is go to www.bell.ca/hockeyonline and when the regular season starts we will be able to watch the games from the Bell website.
Hmmm I was under the impression that once again this year there would be pins and you would actually have to watch the games from the NHL game centre site. A supervisor was supposed to call me Monday, she never did. I called another CSR today who told me he has 4 other people that he is looking into this for and will try to get an answer. He is supposed to call me tomorrow or Friday, I doubt he will.
I finally got it.
So I ordered NHL CI on bell.ca 3 days ago. I got an email from Bell the next day saying NHL Center Ice was added to my programming. On tvonline.bell.ca it also said it might take 48 hrs for the PIN to be available so this morning (48 hrs later) I logged on my tvonline.bell.ca account, clicked on Watch now, selected NHL CI and there you go, I had my registration code and my NHL Gamecenter Live link.
Thanks and have nice 2010-2011 season.:)
Lorenzo1000 2010-10-07, 12:18 PM Yes it finally worked for me as well.

redskull 2010-10-07, 08:06 PM I thought the problem with NHL Centre ICE and MSG HD was over? Saturdays Dallas vs New York Islanders game is not being shown in HD.
VuMax 2010-10-07, 09:20 PM Dallas/NYI is listed in the Shaw guide for Saturday night in HD. There are also other HD games missing from Bell's guide that are in Shaw's.
wingman75 2010-10-08, 12:47 PM How many HD CI channels does Shaw have?
Bell only has 6 :(

leafplasma 2010-10-08, 08:24 PM Ok first off I am so glad you have your link and game center after just subscribing 48 hours ago. On the same note this is the 4th effin year that I have subscribed to NHL CI it just keeps rolling over and when I go to that page I still don't have a pin. Like I said earlier the manager was supposed to help me and call me last Monday, then the last CSR was supposed to call me yesterday or today and of course it didn't happen. I am so sick of Bell I just cannot tell you enough.
rwings01 2010-10-08, 09:41 PM Same damn problem as last year. I can't install flash player 10.1 because of my vista x64. I tried installing firefox and the player still isn't compatible. Any gurus know a way around ths crap x64 would be much appreciated.
thanks in advance

Have you checked since yesterday? My guess is that the pins would not have been made available until the 7th in order to prevent previous season subscribers from grabbing the PIN and then cancelling Centre Ice. I believe the 7th was the first day that cancellations were no longer permitted.
Tried to watch games last night and this year they are placing ads on the glass which is so distracting making the game hard to view. Is this a Bell issue or a network scam?
Anyone else not in favour of this?
