I think it was as high as 540kW for CHWI-16 and around 15kW for CHWI-26.
I'd even settle for 10kW for each, because that may be more than enough for me to lock it in.

So pulling CHWI 26 and not having any issues with the signal. Booming in. No pixilation. No peep on CHWI 16.
Also anyone notice that the CHWI building in downtown Windsor is baron of any identifiers. I had to do a triple take to make sure it wasn't abandoned.

Cogeco Cable blacked out Windsor's CTV-2 affiliate for a day ThursdayMumford said the problem arose when Cogeco had issues with the quality of the Windsor signal.
Thursday was D-Day in Canada when all broadcasters had to switch to digital transmission from analog.
CTV-2 in Windsor and London, part of the former A-Channel network in Ontario, spent $1 million to upgrade its transmitters, said Mumford.
"Everybody's had a year to deal with this. There's no excuse for not being ready."
Mumford was told Cogeco was unable to get a clear standard definition (SD) signal from Windsor, so it switched over to London.http://www.windsorstar.com/mobile/news/top-stories/rocky+start/5349103/story.html

I hate to defend Cogeco, but how much opportunity did CTV2 give cablecos to test? There was a couple of hours one night a few days ago and that's it. Not even sure CHWI was part of that test, or how much notice various stakeholders were given??

CHWI-16 seems to have problems with the audio. All there seems to be is a droning diesel-ish sound

That sound seemed to end when the movie ended. The news at 6 is ok. The random pixellation issues though still remain since transition day, looks like it's the same thing but to a lesser extent that affected CHRO Ottawa, "Choppy video and intermittent uncorrectable errors" as somebody put it.

Is CKVR done transitioning or are they going to increase their contour and/or add a tower in the Niagara region?

CKVR is done transitioning.
Their owner--Bell Media--has applied for two repeater stations (one in Hamilton and the other in Font Hill). This is not related to the digital transition, but rather the re-branding of the network and their hopes to increase ad revenue.

Cool. Would the Hamilton transmitter be better for Scarborough then the Barrie one, or are these repeaters low powered?

Well, most of us east of the CN tower are aiming south-southwest (somewhat in the direction of hamilton), so it would be perfect for us.
CKVR is pretty much to the back of most people's antennae, so unless they go reflectorless, probably not going to be easy easy to pick up, even if the hamilton one is low power.

I recommend reading through the Bell Media’s /A\ Network to Become "CTV Two" This Fall (August 29th) (http://www.digitalhome.ca/forum/showthread.php?t=141102) thread. It has plenty of answers with regards to the application for CKVR repeaters in Font Hill and Hamilton. Specifically, this (http://www.digitalhome.ca/forum/showpost.php?p=1274999&postcount=142) post talks about ERP and channels for both repeaters.
