Does anybody know when? CTV and Global BC arent even available there in HD...

Not sure when it will be all digital however Global and CTV HD from Vancouver are only availbale in the Over The Air distribution area of the network which basically means only in the lower mainland. Adding those channels adds a lot of extra work for the cable providers and frustration for customers as simsubbing (discussed elsewhere) would also come as well.

Saw an add in the local paper that all-digital happens in August for Cranbrook/Kimberley. Not sure of the exact date though. Fernie I believe happens first cause they are sending extra techs out there to help with any first day issues.
When that happens I too am unsure. I heard this from a Shaw employee.

We are currently on the analog basic cable and they (shaw) called us yesterday and said it would be August 23rd for the switch (they offered us a free digital box thingy). I'm in Cranbrook.

do they know when TrailéCastlegar area will be up and running on the new fibre?
