To the best of my knowledge they are NOT showing it in 3D but I believe Rogers are.

Please note its side by side so its not in HD.

Rogers is broadcasting along with Telus TV and Shaw Direct. I think Shaw Cable is too

Channels
Shaw Direct - 233/333
Rogers - 900

Please post any channels from other providers.

That is interesting Hugh.

So the Side by Side Masters Golf I recorded on my Bell 9200, is 3D but only SD....Hmmm

I did not know that. Thanks.

Not exactly SD either.

For 720p, it`s basically two 640 x 720 images side by side totalling 1280 x 720p. Each eye sees one 640 x 720 image. This way no extra bandwidth is required so it can be broadcast on one channel.

Contrast that with Blu-ray 3D which is really HD because its each eyes sees a 1920 x 1080 images hence why it requires twice the bandwidth.

If you're in Toronto Empire Theatres are running the final game on Sunday in 3D on the big screen in their Empress Walk location in North York. It's the only 3D theatrical broadcast in Canada.
