Just wondering if anybody has any experience using a Pace 758D with Novus? Since Novus offers free reprogramming of digital terminals, I figure it might be worthwhile having my Shaw unit reprogrammed. Sent an email to Novus and they claim their customers aren't having the endless problems with this unit that Shaw customers are. Is it worth a try?

Novus firmware won't work with Shaw. Every cableco is responsible for their own variation of the Pace firmware.

Not quite what I meant - I meant switching over to Novus entirely.

I have a DCT 3416 and in that case the firmware differences between Shaw and Novus is like night and day.

Shaw slow and sluggish to do basic things like fast forward etc, Novus lightning fast.
