Got an email from the folks at Canadian Tire today saying the company has developed a new mobile version of the company’s website.

Features of the site include the ability to browse Canadian Tires entire online catalogue complete with pricing and more importantly the ability to check store inventory.

Other features include store locator, keyword search, access to online information, product information, pricing, customer ratings and reviews and store inventory availability.

The new site can be seen at Canadiantire.ca and according to them can be viewed in virtually any mobile browser.

Just had a look with my Blackberry and it does seem to be pretty good.

I did a few searches and things were zippy.

Thanks!

I was looking for a few things and could not get the current in-stock feature to work. Anyone else try this?

Even if it does work, will the product actually be in-stock? If you lived in Victoria, my bet is not likely!

The feature works for me, though it wasn't as simple as it should be. Gotta love how CT always defaults to a Toronto postal code.

Glad to see more websites going mobile. Makes for a much nicer browsing experience.

Works great for me, and it's not the only thing Canadian Tire is doing/changing in the upcoming months:

If they're getting back to basics, will they be bringing back that smug SOB with the beard?
