Can anybody comment on how the EPG on Novus is different/better/worse than Shaw?

I'm planning to switch to Novus when I move in May, and have my HD-PVR reprogrammed.

Does the unit still suffer from the notorious delay/pause bug after pressing buttons?

Not knowing how bad Shaw is at present, all I can so is that at Novus there are times when you occasionally get delays when changing channels and you need to wait a few moments for it to catch up. It not all that often.

I have both Shaw and Novus, and when you fully unplug and plug the Novus box in, it takes a few minutes for the IPG to fully refresh, whereas the Shaw one takes forever.

I think the Novus one also goes further into the future for the guide.

Also, things like fast forward on the Novus box is MUCH faster than on Shaw. I often forward on fwd 3 because it goes by too fast on Novus.

Novus box is a DCT 6412 (older) and the Shaw box is DCT 3416 (newer) - yet slower. So I guess the difference is maybe in the firmware.
