The Weather Network announced today that is is upgraded its popular mobile website and WeatherEye Mobile for BlackBerry application which the network says provides improved navigation and more detailed weather and weather-related information (http://www.digitalhome.ca/2010/03/weathereye-mobile-for-blackberry-updated/)

Hmmm.. I guess it's not released yet....not on their website or the Blackberry world app.

Maybe they're just now reporting last month's significant upgrade? That one finally added multi-city.

Blackberry App World is such a buggy piece of crap that I usually have to do a battery pull everytime I use it, so I wouldn't trust what it might say...

True, Appworld was behind on the current revision of Weathereye so I got it from the weather network directly. On my Bold, the home screen icon suddenly stopped updating and would just show the logo. Uninstalled it and went with the free weatherbug app. I like it much better and the interface has shortcuts via the keyboard to change locations.

The updated WeatherEye works great on my BB Bold. (updated it about 3 weeks ago) The new version has radar data, which is an excellent tool if you are outdoors, like on a golf course and want to know roughly how close the rain area is to your location.
