I have a 3 year old 9200, that every once in a while the green tv1 light will be on in the morning. I would have to hold the power button on to reboot the pvr and it would then turn on again, sometime i would have to unplug it. Now it has been 4 days of trying to reboot, unplug it, and it still will not turn on. green light always on. no video or sound. only the fan is running. any help would be appreciated. tnx.

Open up your box unplug from AC first, locate hard drive under shield unplug power connector then plug back into ac and will boot up. It will give a message saying you can't record skip by it and you should be working without a hard drive. Now unplug system from AC reconnect hard drive and reconnect to AC and wait for it to boot up when it does go into the diagnostics section do a search on this forum for the exact keys I think its menu info then keys browse and themes then use the codes for a hard drive format. I have to do this about once a year everyone says the hard drives are bad but I just think they are not properly defagmented by the software most PVRs made by other manufactuers have hard drive maintenance programs that defrag the hard drive, this has worked for me twice now so give it a shot.

I called belltv and they offered me a replacement 9200 pvr for 149.00. so i now have another 9200 that works with one year warranty.
