Always been impressed with Panasonic plasma's back in the UK, but now in Canada and we are looking at moving house again. The house we are moving to has a large home theatre room with stadium like seating in the basement and currently has a ceiling projector and screen, which will go with the owner.

We were looking at 50" until we went into a shop home theatre room and saw how 'small' the 60" was, or I should say, how it didn't take over the room as expected.

So we are now looking at between 60" and 65", prefer plasma and would like recommendations other than my first choice of Panasonic ( these V series are now like rocking horse cr@p to get hold of apparently and the new model will be 3D which I'm not particularly interested in being an early adopter of ).

So straight 1080p , 60"+ recommendations.

At 65" the Panasonic is really the best choice.

Agree with jvincent. Alternatives that have been "on sale". Panasonic 65" S1, instead of V10, Samsung PN63B550 (63"). Boxing day sales, had 60" inexpensive plasmas for as little as $1700 (not quite the V10 mind you)
