I have recently been having problems with my tv picture via HDMI,
I have been talking to shaw cable and trying to figure out what i can do.
Shaw has replaced my hdpvr 3 times, the lines to and from my house where changed. all the components from the home cable box where replaced so everything is new. (all for free, good on shaw to try and resolve the problem)
The problem i am having is that my picture and sound drops out about every 15-20 min on my tv (2009 46" samsung series 7) I contacted my warrenty people and they tell me that it is a problem with comunication between the shaw box and my tv but only happens on certian models (mine being one of them) and that is not a warrenty issue and to deal with it.
It doesn't happen when i watch movies or play games on ps3 (all with HDMI cables)
My question is how can this not be a warrenty issue if it happens on certain models and not all of them?
can someone help me find some reasons to convince the warrenty carrier to replace my tv to a model that doesn't have this problem
I also just bought a samsung 50" plasma 850 series 2 days ago and i am considering returning it if I start to have the same problem!
