I'm currently watching it right now on CBS [KIRO] and it's not simsubbed :D
I have Shaw Digital Cable, and I'm able to see all the US ads. (I live near Whistler BC)

For what it's worth, looks like Eastlink digital cable here in Charlottetown PEI is leaving the CBS HD east and west feeds untouched (WBZ-HD Boston ch. 621 and KIRO-HD Seattle ch. 626), as well as KIRO-SD on digital channel 276.

In fact, I haven't seen ANY simsubs on any of Eastlink Charlottetown's HD channels in months - I can only assume they are no longer using Bell as their HD source anymore (Last year's Super Bowl was simsubed on all Eastlink HD and SD channels by CFTO-HD and CTV Atlantic respectively).

WBZ-SD Boston on analog channel 4 is being simsubed by CTV Atlantic, as expected.
Yes the CBSHD feed eastlink gets is simsub free so we get all the USA commercials. As for where we get the feed from I can tell you that we get CBSHD,ABCHD,NBCHD and FOXHD directly from each network now, there is no middleman anymore, they are direct feeds that's why those 4 channels also have fantastic PQ because eastlink gets them directly from the networks themselves now.

I tried tweaking the antenna but no luck. I can't beleive it's the only channel that is out for me right now. In the afternoon signal stregth was good even having the antenna indoors.
Rescan the channels, or simply dial 39.5...that's the thing about OTA/ATSC tuner/signal and anything may go wrong at the wrong time.

Hmm. I did try rescanning the channels. Game is over and now CBS is crystal clear!!! I'm close enough to the CN tower. Is it possible for CTV to "block" CBS by transmitting something on 4.1 (CBS channel) at a power low enough that it doesn't afect folks in Buffalo?? C'mon it's too much of a coincidence.

To add to the mystery I have now two 4.1 channels, I click channel up and it still shows 4.1 (which I also noticed during the game). One has no signal now and the other is fine. WTH :confused:

I had a problem as well. When the sun came out in the early afternoon the signal strength weakened. I played with antenna and it came in for the entire game.

Unprofessional and CTV in same sentence?!? That's unpossible.

Saw the game at a downtown Montreal bar just a block away from my office once I confirmed earlier that they did receive and would show the CBS-HD feed. It's vitally important to confirm both since some establishments that are heavily francophone might prefer a French Canadian broadcast.

A fun time was had by all except for the one loud guy who sided with the Colts, and had to pay for all of the drinks at his table. :)

Interesting. We didn't check the other boxes in the house but our main 530 had no sim-subbing on the CBS-E feed. We didn't dare turn the channel in case we lost the U.S. feed.
