I was lucky enough the other night to pick up KOMO 4.2 This TV Network.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/This_TV

Not sure how long it has been available...very hard to get this channel.

What kind of antenna are you using to get channel 4.2?

He has 2 original CM4228s stacked. He's also in South Surrey, so he's got quite an advantage over all of us. ;)
Also I'm using a CM7777 amp and an AR-40 rotor.
But again it's very rare to get KOMO.

KOMO is regular here using stacked 4228s and AP4800 preamp

I've rarely been able to get a lock on KOMO-DT here in Annieville/Royal Heights with a single CM4228 pointed right at it into a variety of preamps I've tried. I always see its digital carrier but It sure doesn't have the ooomph to lock. My intent to build a DBGH might change that.

Suffice it to say that folks west of Cloverdale and north of Surrey's south slopes will get some or all of the other SeaTac digitals with strong OTA gear, but will have to take heroic measures to get KOMO-DT and still might not have luck.

I did a rescan and can't get KVOS anymore (may be a function of the weather). Only 12% max (down from something that gave me a picture 2 months back). OTH, I'm getting well over 90% (Global was under 84-85% for a while) on the Mt Seymour HD channels with a steady 100% on CBC.

I get 12-1 KVOS and 24-1 KBCB? (the shopping one) today whereas I never got them before. I'm in Kerrisdale in a below ground apartment surrounded by concrete towers using a homemade coathanger bowtie antenna.

KVOS-TV pretty much dropped out and hasn't come back in a day.
I'm getting CTV,Global & CBC real strong and i never had a problem with
KVOS before since it was strong regardless of the antenna position.

Anybody else having a problem ?

I was having problems with KVOS yesterday in the late afternoon but I thought it was the antenna I was testing.

Yes, KVOS is definitely dead for OTA but still on cable.

...was totally dead for me last night and this morning (usually my strongest channel). Haven't checked lately.

KVOS was gone for me this morning CBUT, CIVT, and CHAN were booming in. Don't know if KVOS has come back or not.

KVOS is fine for me. It's coming in as strong as CTV.

KVOS' application to relocate their broadcast tower inland and further south has been dismissed:

If I could make some dreams come true I would open 5 LP Class DTV stations in either Point Roberts, Sumas, or Blaine WA, each broadcasting one SeaTac channel converted to 720p with a single 480p subchannel:

KOMO ABC in HD with KMYQ MyTV in SD
KIRO CBS in HD with KSTW CW in SD
KING NBC in HD with KONG in SD
KCPQ FOX in HD with KWPX Ion in SD
KCTS PBS in HD with Ion Qubo in SD
I know what you're thinking... dream on stampeder! :D

Northwest Broadcasters (http://members.shaw.ca/nwbroadcasters/recentnews.htm) reports an application for a 300 watt low power transmitter on Orcas Island on channel 12. Am I correct in assuming this is for KVOS? The coverage "leaks" a long way north... maybe to downtown Vancouver? I am probably not that lucky!

And here's the application:

From what I can see the contours of the 12 application closely matches that of KBCB.
