I can't seem to find this anywhere..

The basic HD box not the pvr.. does anyone know the specs for it?

Does it have an HDMI jack?

Yes, there's a HDMI port on the box. The problem with it though, is that Bell Aliant seems to tell everyone that the port does not work and is not supported by them. I've had trouble getting it to work when I first got my box, but it's working now and haven't had any problems with it since then.

Apparently they will release a firmware update in the future that will resolve the HDMI issue.

It is a Motorola VIP1200. The previous poster is right, the HDMI port does (usually) work but has can have issues so they don't officially support it.

That said, the USB port on the front isn't officially supported either but I use it all the time for random USB devices (charging my cell phone(s) or using my USB fan mostly). Just because a piece of a unit isn't supported doesn't mean you can use it - tech support just wont know how to help you if something goes wrong.
