I'm looking for a USB TV tuner for my laptop that comes with software that records also. Even retail you should be able to find something like that for under $100. roger1818 2009-11-25, 12:23 PM The issue with most USB tuners is they don't have a hardware MPEG encoder for analog (NTSC). Not having a hardware encoder means a software encoder is required, using up CPU processing power.
