I was wondering if anybody knew how to solve this problem...

When i am watching tv, out of nowhere my channels will start changing by itself. The guide will pop up, the PVR will kick in rewinding, pausing, returning to live tv all "by itself".

At first, i thought it was the remote but when I removed the batteries the problems still persist.

Then I removed the antenna from the back of the receiver box and the problem goes away.

I believe that something is interfering with my unit, either a neighbor with a UHF remote or something else. Possebly wireless internet?

Anyone had this problem before? Anyone know how to fix it? Anyone know if its possible to change the channels UHF that communicate from the remote to the receiver?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Change the default remote transmission channel. Its in user manual somewhere in there. Thats what I did for my bell UHF remote.
