Ugh. Finished watching it last night and not very impressed. Decent actors for the main part, McKellan is a pro as usual. Making thing mind warpy, confusing and using lots of looong shots does not cover up a weak plot line.
This is pretty much bang on as to my thoughts on this show...what a waste of 6 hrs.

im confused, is this a regular series now, or a mini series..and if so how many episodes...im not interested in investing time into new series year after year if its not very good, but if limited to 6 episodes or whatever maybe ill watch it.

It was a new 6 part miniseries (1 hour per episode). I haven't watched it yet, but have it sitting on my PVR. Probably get to it during the December repeat doldrums.

I recommend you check it out On Demand on ch 100 in the AMC folder, in HD. Episodes 1 and 2 are there now.

Yeah, pretty much my thoughts too. I like mysterious shows (Lost, FlashForward, etc...) but this was a little too weird for my tastes. My wife really enjoyed it, but I could take it or leave it. It interested me enough that I kept watching to learn what it was all about, but if it was much longer than 6 episodes then I would have given up on it.
