There was a fairly large cable/internet outage yesterday in my area. Lost cable/internet from early afternoon until after suppertime.
A while later I was trying to set up a recording for a recurring show on my 8300-HD. After selecting the "Any time, this channel" option it sat there at the "Please wait" screen for a long time, before suddenly rebooting the box.
When I turned it on a couple hours later I was pleasantly surprised to see the show actually recorded. But there was also another entry in the list that was very odd. The title was "2500, 0x184, 0x0, 0x0", the start time was 9;14PM and the duration was negative 14 minutes. Info did not show anything more. Program did not play (or maybe it played for -14 minutes and I just didn't notice).
Could this be a core dump of some sort? I've seen this box rest before, but I've never seen this. Any idea if it's safe to just try to erase this "recording"?
