I just purchased an RCA D52W20, and so far I'm very pleased with it! However, I am unable to get into the advanced "service menu" - the typical RCA method (that is, holding menu then pressing power, volume +) doesn't work.
Does anyone know how to get into the service menu on the RCA D52W20?
Specifically, I want to fine-tune the convergence. The standard manual convergence adjustment only allows you to adjust one cross in the centre of the screen - but I can see that convergence is off towards the top and bottom of the screen. (For this reason, I think it would be hard to recommend this model to others unless there is a more advanced manual convergence method hidden in there, somewhere...)

Now, this model isn't referred to as a "Scenium" in anything I've seen, but it has the same look, and similar model number, as the RCA Thompson Scenium line -- does anyone know how to get into the service menu on a Scenium? That may work for the D52W20 too...?

I finally found the way in to the RCA D52W20 service menu, using a method listed for Thompson models:
Turn the power off at the front panel, and then press and hold CH - and VOL - at the same time; after holding for about 8 seconds, the television will turn itself on in service menu mode.
Under "Convergence," it has the option of doing a 9, 25, or 195 point convergence adjustment, with plenty of on-screen help... Sweeeeet!
(That said, remember you enter the service menu at your own risk -- you can really screw things up if you fumble around blindly changing settings...)

Now that I know how to get into the service menu of the RCA D52W20... Can someone explain what I'm seeing here?
I'm most interested in adjusting my display size for the DVI input

Our tv cuts off all edges of the screen, stock tickers football scores and stuff. (via DVI or Component) --only in 1080i , 480p is fine
I got into the service menu thinking that i could adjust it. WOW I dont think that you should adjust those settings unless you know what you are doing.
1 call to RCA determined that the tv is too large and they will offer in home service at NO COST! The guy is gonna fix it for free at my house!
