Apparently the option to view your bill through an iTV app will be rolled out very shortly.

totally worthless. i would NEVER pay for this.

and when you hit channel up (+) as instructed to exit at the bottom of the screen, you go to weather net (398) instead of the channel you were on before. someone else commented on this last week, and I agree, very annoying.

this is getting locked out

fwiw, I take the term "interactive weather" to mean:
1. playing in the rain/snow
2. sunbathing
3. passing wind

frenchophile - Wouldn't you expect pressing the channel up (+) button to take you to the next channel? I'm not sure I understand why you expect it to take you back to the channel you were previously on?

good point...i should clarify, the ONLY way to exit this channel is to hit the plus button, which takes you to 398. so then I have to physically type in the number of the channel I was watching, or more likely, go through the guide to find it since I don't have them all memorized.

exiting by pushing the last channel button works for me

Well, whoopde bloody doo! Another useless waste of bandwidth. Just to be sure, I looked out my kitchen window at the thermometer and the temp was right on! It was also raining, just like it said on my screen!
This one can join the other redundant CBC, CTV and Global crap channels.
Hey, Shaw Direct, don't even think about charging for this one.

All of these options are great, but one should just be required to punch in a new channel number if one wanted to. My Mom, 80, is already totally confused and said "I'll just watch the Ottawa channel for my weather, like always; I can't figure this out".

I agree with the majority. I used it once to check it out, but have not used it since!

I was impressed with how fast it loads, the BellTV apps are brutally slow. I might use it some...

I just noticed it does not have the state of Maine in it

It looks like they did a good job for the listed cities in Canada, but there are very few US cities available.

And internationally no Australia or Great Britain but New Zealand is. Some strange choices and omissions.

Why provide two channels for this app. in English (397) and French (739), when, if your receiver is set to display in English and you tune into channel 739 (the French Interactive Weather), the info is displayed in English still? Waste of space for having two identical channels for this app. in my opinion. Let's see the real update we are all waiting for already!

Not wildly celebrating but i will use it...unless they try to charge, then it'll be gone!

It may be for users as in this area, highly inaccurate.
And bandwidth is practically NIL.
It's a low bandwidth data stream, so don't worry about not getting other stuff they need to add because of this.

And TJ77, it's FAST because it's the only app running on the streamer.
Wait until more apps are launched and eventually we'll get to the 20-30 second BTV load times.

What they were supposed to do an still may is create an interactive portal in the 900's somewhere.

That's what the INTERACTIVE button on the remote is for and it's coded for the portal.

Of course with 1 app, you don't need it.
Think of it as a front end menu to selected numerous apps, what ever they put out there.

At lot like BTV 275.

I agree, I looked, I left, I won't be back.
But I do celebrate their accomplishment, as late an minuscule as it is.

Highly inaccurate.
I checked the forecast Wednesday night, and the first entry was the forecast for Wednesday morning. Obviously it's not a rolling forecast and updated constantly. I also question how accurate the current stats.
SD must be partying like it's 1999 rolling out this app!
Petition the CRTC to partner with DirectTV and provide a Canadian TV service similar to SIRIXM and get it over with
