On a positive note, at least MGM issued a recall of their product, and will re-issue it in April. From what I've read, Universal did not do the same with their screwed-up 'Back to the Future' trilogy. I guess after considerable pressure from all the infavourable reviews, they eventually did offer new replacement discs to those who sent in their defects. I read nothing about a total recall of product though. Suspect you know more about this than I do James. But I did find it interesting that Universal for what seemed the "longest time", denied that there was even a problem. It's always been buyer beware -- thank goodness for "reviewers" to help one make some buying decisions!!
