kool_105 2011-04-20, 10:49 AM There are a few pertinent details in this Wikipedia entry.

i actually get signal From WYZY-FM Y106.3 and I've never been able to get anything from the digital or analog channel.
Apple IIGS 2011-04-20, 01:40 PM Yep, I can confirm within the last hour CTV has returned to virtual "12.1" with the label CFCF-HD. Still no EPG info however, my converter reports "No program information is available" (rather than "DTV program").
On an interesting note, CBC-6 Montreal seems to be coming in a bit stronger. For the first time I can tune in BOTH CTV and CBC on the same antenna, without having to move it around.
airbox 2011-04-20, 05:41 PM Yup, so far so good with CFCF, my TV automatically switched from 51.1 to a remapped 12.1;
My TV gives me this info:
D12.1 CC
CFCF-HD 1920*1080i
16:9
D Sound: English 1
CE-14+
My Sanyo TV is a 720P.
The sound seems OK too, and connected via coax to my audio receiver, I get 5.1 sound, so it appears they have switched the audio around, so standard sound comes before the secondary descriptive audio channel.
However, I am seeing occasional marco blocking again, and I am receiving the station full strength.
airbox 2011-04-20, 07:39 PM Hi All, it's happened again,as of 7:30 PM, CFCF is back to 51.1, more technical problems?
Channel info give me CFCF_AS.
etiennemh 2011-04-20, 07:47 PM Hey,
I lost fox 44. Signal 0%!
Anyone know what's going on? Fox decide to stop
Broadcasting?
Etienne
interdit_450 2011-04-20, 07:48 PM Confirmed with me as well - CFCF was 12.1 around 5PM and then flipped back to 51.1 when I checked just now
By the way, anyone having issues with WFFF 44? I usually get about 3-4 bars and now nothing. Everything else was OK despite the weather
HDfan2 2011-04-20, 08:00 PM WFFF 44 is 0 bars here now
barcham 2011-04-20, 08:02 PM FOX is down here in Ville Emard also. Maybe something to do with the bad weather? CFCF is coming in really clear but have to tune to 51-1 again.
mille 2011-04-20, 08:10 PM beautiful picture again
strong signal
but it's remapping "1" on my Sharp Aquos
51-1 on my Toshiba
1_0 on my Eviant CFCF _AS:eek:
Can't pick up WFFF tonight. All other channels are OK though.
etiennemh 2011-04-20, 08:40 PM I found the issues annouce officially on fox website.

dorthensensens 2011-04-20, 09:07 PM I confirm that fox44 is at 0% for me.
I am not able to get cfcf any more however.
barcham 2011-04-20, 09:08 PM Thanks for the update! Much appreciated.
Try 51-1 to pick up CFCF. It works for me.
dorthensensens 2011-04-20, 09:22 PM Thanks barcham. I tried that. I'm still not getting it. I dunno. It was working well for me earlier. Back to analog I guess.
kool_105 2011-04-20, 09:47 PM Update from Fox 44:
UPDATE: Unfortunately this problem is not going to be resolved tonight. Our engineers will be out again tomorrow morning to try and fix it. We're being told it is some kind of ice issue/event.

northbear 2011-04-20, 10:03 PM I lost fox44.
kool_105 2011-04-20, 11:48 PM CFCF seems to be back to Normal again on 12.1, still no EPG Data Though.
Apple IIGS 2011-04-21, 12:59 AM As of late tonight, CFCF is back to 12.1 (yet again). Seems to intermittently pixelate, particularly when there is a lot of movement in the picture. At least the correct audio channel is being broadcast.
As for FOX 44.1/44.2, you're not the only one who lost the signal. I'm not getting anything, signal strength is zero....not so much as a blip. Hmm, I wonder if that's why CBC Montreal is coming in stronger.
schoenbe 2011-04-21, 01:28 AM Confirmed. No signal from Fox at this moment.
mille 2011-04-21, 06:29 AM Back to normal for me this morning
sound & picture perfect, strong signal...hope for good;)
