Anyone heard when CBC will move to the mountain?
I use a mini-state hdms9100 with great results for 3,5,12,33,44 digital reception, but recently lost 6.1.

I know most are critical of the mini-state, but it seems to work great for me and is not an eyesore in my second floor window (no access to my roof).

Thanks

I've lost all signal to CIVM when I would get it at near 100%. Is anyone else having issue with this channel?

Hopefully before the Stanley cup play-offs!

If you are talking of CIVM-DT, that's planned maintenance...

Google Translation of http://www.telequebec.tv/nouvelles/?id=559The start of work to be performed on the antenna from 17 February was postponed to February 22. Those who, in Montreal, Quebec Tele-capture analog signal may therefore need to undergo service interruptions, from midnight (except Saturday evenings), not from February 17 to March 8, but from February 22 March 12.

Further work will be undertaken on February 22, this time on the digital transmitter Montreal. For viewers in the region capturing digital signal Télé-Québec (17.1 CIVM-DT), this work will result in service interruption lasting 4 to 8 days. It may, however, follow the programming of Tele-Quebec analog channel (17).
Tele-Quebec apologizes for any inconvenience these works may cause.

All analog transmitters from Mont-Royal seems to be down tonight. Was that scheduled?

I think it could be. Over on the French forum, one of the broadcast engineers on the boards said they are replacing the master FM antenna on the top platform of the Mount Royal tower. This is apparently to correct RF emissions to comply with Code 6 and to correct a manufacturer's defect discovered after installation.

Additionally, a report on the French forum says a mechanical shovel cut into some power lines back in September causing significant collateral damage to a number of transmitters. CFJP for example has been running on its backup transimitter since then, putting out only one-third of the usual ERP.

Hi there!
This week, I lost TéléQuébec in my OTA setup (channel 17-1, broacasted on 27 / 551Mhz).

Since it's the only channel that I lost, I don't think that my setup went broken. I haven't change a thing in it.

Somebody knows something about it?

Yep there is something going on with them. Usualy get them at 100%. But right now they are swinging between 70 and 100%. While I'm still getting a solid lock at my location, could be reason you are loosing them.

Since yesterday I receive a very week signal, normally I receive it without problem.
My antenna is pointing between this direction and the Mont-Royal. Is it possible some test are done at with the adjacent channel 15 (WPTZ is on channel 14)?

Same here, lost WPTZ-DT on Friday night. Signal was a little better on Saturday. Borderline picture lock. Can't really watch anything more than 5 minutes due to picture break up. I'd like my NBC affiliate back. Something must have happened on Friday to their transmitter. All the other Mount Mansfield based stations coming in fine.

I checked channel 15. No signal being tested for possibly CKMI-DT. So, it can't be anything being tested that is effecting WPTZ-DT.

As well, on Friday midnight, the Montreal analog transmitters seemed to have been turned off. I guess the CBC is still working on the tower. Interesting thing though, when CFCF-TV 12 was shutdown, I noticed that WVNY-DT was coming in. Picture lock and watch able. On Saturday, it was gone again. The CFCF-TV 12 transmitter was back up. Was this a one off? Or could we actually expect the WVNY-DT situation to improve when CFCF-DT moves onto channel 12.
