Same here, 42.1 is fine, 10.1 is black.

Looks like I'm going to have a whole bunch of bad recordings on my Tivo HD when I finally catch up to the showings over the last week or so. Better change all my series recordings for CKVU over to my Shaw box. :(

CHNM-DT is down again, and CKVU-DT remains so.

My CBC HD just went black about 5 minutes ago in the middle of Rick Mercer. Signal strength on my Samsung TV is 6-7 bars but nothing showing up. Anyone else?

CBC just went black for me too. I was also sad to see CKVU-DT down when I wanted to watch The Event in HD last night =( At least the signal strengths do seem to be higher...

CBUT-DT is fine now, CHNM-DT is working, CKVU-DT is still down.

I've noticed that CBC's (2.1) time is off by a couple of hours at least, does anyone else have that problem? My Samsung is set GMT-8 and is using the auto clock set. Other digital channels have the correct time, or within a couple of minutes of correct time.

On my Samsung TV:

CBUT's PSIP has been messed up for 6 months including displaying the incorrect time. PSIP worked prior to that. CKVU is in the same state at CBUT including displaying the incorrect time.

Presently, the only stations with PSIP fully working are the following:
-CIVT
-KBCB
-KVOS
-K24ICD (aka KBTC / Mhz Worldview)

KVOS and KBTC (kudos to them) are a tier higher because they have the show name and in many cases include a description of the episode or program being shown.


CHNM shows the correct call sign and time, but no program information. Hopefully in July 2011, when they upgrade their facilities, this will be corrected and they will go high definition.

CHAN shows the correct time and that's it. Not even the call signal and shows up as channel 22. Not sure why, but every few months for a couple of hours (e.g. yesterday morning, for the first time since July), PSIP briefly works properly.

Five days downtime doesn't bode well for the future.

CItytv 47.1 remap to 10.1 is great for me at 12:42pm

42.1 is back but stuttering again. Could be my TV set but I doubt.

Audio on 42.1 drops for 0.5-1.0 second every 10-15 minutes, signal strength is 70% or more. Looks similar to muting F-words in some shows, only it happens without any such words (Law&Order is verbally quite a polite serial). Doesn't happen on analog mirror 42 or another DT channel from same studio - 10.1. Anybody else noticed this?

I am getting zero signal on CBUT-HD at the moment. CBC analog is coming through as usual, and other digital stations (Ctv, Global, etc) are coming through strong as ever.

I usually get 6 bars on CBC. Today - nada! Anyone else having problems?

How strange. I have not changed anything here. And there is no change on any of the other channels either. They are all fine.

Any chance CBC changed their channel from 58? I know that have to at some point. Have they done it already?

If they have, then I presume a rescan would solve the problem, but I can't try that until after the "Hannah Montana" movie is over or my daughter will give a load of grief, heh! She won't even let me try during commercials. :)
