Nah, it's out for me too. Same thing happened yesterday for me with CBUT-DT... hey, maybe CIVT-DT is messing with their transmitter and its affecting the others? :). One of these days...

Do you happen to know how long it has been out, Zapperman? When was the last time you had a signal?

Yeah, Stamp, I am getting it through Telus TV as well, so it must just be OTA.

(PS. Yeah! Totally looking forward to CIVT being digital)

Same thing here about 9:30 no analogue channel 8, no digital 22. CBC and CTV are above normal for me.

Interesting, DTVinVictoria is experiencing better reception on CBC and CTV, while Stampeder has noted a drop on both those channels. I check my signals, and mine are also down a bit, but still fully watchable.

For me while this is going on CBC is 20% higher and CTV is higher but maybe 10 to 15% and the rest same KVOS and KBCB

Called CHAN News Line it is estimated they will be back up around noon today.

On my MythTV box I measured these with my pcHDTV-5500 ATSC tuner's signal meter:

22.1 (8.1) CHAN-DT Global is at 70% and solid instead of its usual solld lock at ~80%
33.1 (32.1) CIVT-DT CTV is at 60% and solid instead of its usual solid lock at ~80%
58.1 (2.1) CBUT-DT CBC is at 71% and solid instead of its usual solid lock at ~90%
Weather Conditions:

Low cloud, 10°C, wind SE 5 km/h, humidity 82%

2.1 = 76
8.1 = 87
12.1 = 87
32.1 = 92

Also, at the moment 8 analog is ok.

I'm getting Global at normal signal now. CBC and CTV have degraded back to what's normal for me.

CHAN-DT is back for me now too - only difference now is that I am now getting the PSIP data for the first time ever! Before it always just showed "Global BC", now I actually get the program info...

Still nothing on my Samsung TV, Global still refuses to even remap to 8.1. The others work great though.

Well, I have to admit, it has been rather disappointing in last year for OTA here. Out of the few stations that broadcast in HD, there have been no changes or major improvements. There still seems to be zero enthusiasm on their behalf, about HD.
After about a year and an half, Global has not even once mentioned or shown any words of happiness or appreciation that they broadcast in HD. Same with any other stations. After long time of watching and hoping, I have finally given up on them. If those tv stations don't care about themselves, why should I?
Seems the one and only reason for them to do OTA (except CBC) is simsub on cable.
I have finally stopped watching and hoping and I realized after a while, that I missed nothing. Just out of curiosity, I tuned into a show on CTV yesterday to see how much they have improved in last year (since I last watched that channel daily). I have to say there has been zero improvement. I noticed even less HD content; after a year there are even less commercials in HD, the few HD ads were: one promo clip for a series on Bravo! (that doesn't even have an hd channel) and one ad in HD to make cable companies pay fees to ctv.
Global is even worse. Since all those promises to have local news in HD, nothing after so long time. Last time I even called them (more then a year ago), I was told they had all local HD equipment installed, but it was decided that it would be delayed until the national newscast from Ottawa undergoes HD upgrades to be able to launch first.

Citytv said the other day they have all upgrades already done and are ready for launch right away, transmitter completed and installed; are just awaiting the CRTC Yes to turn it on. It will be in HD.

Channel M is currently installing digital transmitters in both Vancouver and Victoria, but don't seem to be ready for launch yet. I called them, first person I spoke to said there are not even plans for it yet. Engineering confirmed about transmitters but it will not be hd, but rather digital SD. Also mentioned they are waiting for CRTC and IC papers (we all know that was approved a while ago).

Both City and Channel M are Rogers stations and their owner is also an olympic broadcaster and probably wants to rush this before the olympics start to take advantage of it. So let's see what happens if anyone is still left watching out there.

I've noticed that GLOBAL have also stopped promoting the fact that they transmit in "STEREO", do you think there is a connection??
