I've just purchased a UN55B6000 (courtesy of a store misprint that saved me big $$$ :D), and it's my first experience with an LCD tv. I've had plasma in the past.

The tv is obviously 120Hz, but I've noticed when I hit "info" on the samsung remote while watching hd television, it displays "1920x1080i @ 60Hz".

I've gone into the settings to ensure the 120hz motion plus is turned on, but for some reason it still appears to only by displaying at 60. I'm seeing some image blur while watching fast moving action, but I'm unsure if that's just because I'm used to plasma, or perhaps because something is not set correctly on the tv.

Is this normal? If not, is there something I'm missing?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

My guess: the info relates to specs of the signal source, i.e. 1920x1080i @ ~60 Hz. Your TV is doing the 120 Hz frame interpolation, but that doesn't change the specs on the input signal....

Just my $0.02....

By the way, that's a really nice TV....love the blacks on that Sammy. ;)

The info button shows the incoming signal, as mentioned above and in the following:
