: Last concert you attended?
ironman07 2009-05-06, 09:06 PM What's the last concert/performance you folks have attended?
I live out in LA and caught this guy spinning at a local club. Check him out if you dig dance tunes. Kid Caspian: http://underground.alpine-usa.com/RocktheDash/band_index.php?bid=689
cooper83 2009-05-06, 09:45 PM Attended an intimate acoustic performance by Metric a couple of weeks ago. I'd seen them twice before with the full band in larger venues, and I gotta say the acoustic stuff exceeded my expectations.
Can't even remember the last one I saw before that...maybe Incubus?
Chumley 2009-05-06, 09:49 PM Our last concert was July 12 last year in Winnipeg.
Mark Knopfler was awesome.
He's one of the few guitarists in the world that can play 3 or 4 notes, and can be instantly identified. Just like Carlos Santana or Eric Clapton
I'm 49 and most of the crowd had a few gray hairs, just like me. ;)
jayoldschool 2009-05-06, 10:16 PM Fleetwood Mac in Ottawa last month. Great show, and the first time they have played here...
DSgamby 2009-05-06, 10:19 PM LeAnn Rimes at Grand Casino Mille Lacs
dm_4u 2009-05-06, 10:24 PM Elton John...couple months ago in Winnipeg...awesome.

Exid0r 2009-05-07, 01:31 AM U2 in Vancouver - October 2009.
Are you from the future? ;)
I saw Lewis Black (http://www.alfredotroche.com/LB/LBgenericmailer.html) perform in Toronto on April 26. He was as advertised... "Ferociously Funny!".
Motley Crue in MSG back in March.
peano 2009-05-07, 07:52 AM Fleetwood Mac in Montreal in March. Absolutely awesome!!
jshel101 2009-05-07, 08:55 AM My last concert was Metallica, waaaaaay back in the 90's. Yes, it has been a long time.
supergenius 2009-05-07, 09:05 AM Virgin Fest Summer of 2008. Headliners included Stone Temple Pilots and The Flaming Lips.
Have tickets for No Doubt in July.
Deezeex 2009-05-07, 09:51 AM Elton John's Red Piano show in Vegas last month. Excellent venue - stunning performance. A real showman.
eljay 2009-05-07, 10:04 AM I think the last show I saw was Ani DiFranco, about 5 years ago. Damned good show. Before that, it was probably Supertramp, also a damned good show.
I think I'm due for a concert... :p
jccamp95 2009-05-07, 10:28 AM its been a couple years, but last one was The Cult in Calgary. Nothing fancy, no pyro etc like Motley Crue's Carnival of Sins, just good ol rock and roll.
NIN nov 08 in Hamilton; loud, crunchy and amazing, the second time I saw the Lights In The Sky tour.
Going to:
NIN at the Molson amphitheatre in June
Pat Metheny and Gary Burton at the 4 Seasons Opera House in June
Those two should represent a fairly dynamic shift.:)
faston 2009-05-07, 04:35 PM David Byrne in Vancouver Feb. 09.
Same as it ever was.
heypeterman 2009-05-07, 04:41 PM Sorry, my list is a little long but I couldn't leave any of these out...
Nine Inch Nails, Victoria - Dec '08. One of the last shows with Josh Freese. Very sad to see him go.
Radiohead, Vancouver - Aug '08
Beck, Victoria - Aug '08
Nine Inch Nails, Seattle - July '08
Queens of the Stone Age, Victoria - May '08
I would go to another NIN concert but they aren't coming anywhere near me this year. :(
I missed Rush and AC/DC last year and probably can't afford to see AC/DC this year since I'm saving my money in hopes that Tool tours this year.
The Watcher 2009-05-07, 05:08 PM Saw Ian Tyson at the "The Red Barn" in Oshawa early 90s Sat maybe ten feet away. Wish I bought his latest record there because he was autographing them.
Saw Eddie Coffey, "Five Points Mall" Oshawa. - Free lol
