Hi All.
Is there a way to view recorded programs on a 2nd tv? I have the Rogers HD PVR but the TV I want to watch the programming is an old 32" Sanyo.
Thanks for the help!:)
Sure, connect the composite or S-video cable, along with analogue audio cables to the second TV. You could use the RF-coax too, but that signal would be the poorest picture quality and be mono sound. I assume that you have the SA8300HD.
Here's a post useful for those new to the forum - FAQs, Search Tips, Optimization, etc.

If you're not familiar with the cables, see the following post on Cables & Connections.

Thanks for the advice. How do I control the PVR from the 2nd tv and can you watch a program on one tv and a separate one on the 2nd?
I've added additional info to my original post. Composite is the yellow cable - don't confuse with component video. Almost all TVs have composite. If not, use RF-Coax.

Great....can you change what you're viewing on the 2nd tv?
Yeah, you can watch whatever you're watching on the first TV. ;)
I've never tried hooking a second TV to the "Copy to VCR" output. That may allow you to watch something different with the "copy to VCR" function, but you wouldn't have any "control" once it starts I believe.
This isn't the same as the BTV units, some of which are designed for use with two TVs, come with an RF remote, etc.

I frequently use "Copy to VCR" to view previously recorded programs on a second TV. In my case, however, the second TV is actually my PC, and I use Vista Media Center to watch "Live TV". As long as I start the "Copy to VCR" 15 minutes before I want to watch the program, I can still use the PVR-like features of Media Center to pause and FF commercials.
