Great signal here as well 91% 1080i :D

Not receiving analog any more, but you can't beat the digital quality.

BOOMING in here in Newmarket at 95. For reference, CBLT is 78 and CFTO is 88. This is a great signal.

Can't understand why so many are having a trouble with CHCH 11?

Like I mentioned before each persons antenna and it's ability to receiving hi band VHF will be one of the factors in receiving CHCH11 .

Or just might be the way there TV’s (tuners) are interpreting or how people are tuning in the CHCH 11? I'm getting a 1080i with signal strength of 85% CHCH 11. (BTW I have an older 4228 combined with 4221.)

I'm sure it will workout for many, just got to get the cob webs out!

All the best!

26-1 in Belleville is on the air. Getting about 4 -5 bars in Kingston. I need to be directly pointed to it to pick it up.

TVO here in Burlington, Thursday morning, 100% Quality/81% Strength on my Elgato EyeTV Hybrid. and 100%/92% on my Elgato EyeTV One.

I can confirm the stream info as:
Video: MPEG-2, 1920x1080, 12.50 Mbps, 29.97 fps
Audio: Dolby Digital, 48kHz, 384 kpbs

Looks look so far. Looks like TVO has done a nice job.

19.1 blasting in here Upper Beaches Toronto... who owns TVO? what it is Public Television i.e. you and me own it... and the transition was perfect? Surprise. You mean I don't have to go and phone my local rip off cable or Sat company to be forced fed channels full of crap with imbecilic Sat and Cable commercials using wasted actors with fixed stunned smiles on their faces :)

Sorry I really don't like the two big Canadian telecom companies here :)

Wrong thread, but if you're in Mississauga you are likely half the distance from the TX tower in Stoney Creek than others in Toronto. Distance is huge factor. I've read accounts of people picking up close, strong analogs without even an antenna - just the open end of an RG6 connection.

TVO_DT, RF19, is screaming here in Markham - 99% on my 9242.

10/10 bars here in the Stouffville area . Comparing TVO DTV to all my other strong DTV signals on my analyzer, it has the highest peak of any other station. That 100KW signal is definitely a flame thrower

32-1 in Windsor was coming in at up to 9/10 bars very early this morning. As tropo is dissapating now, the signal is jumping up and down from 0 bars to 5 bars. The picture just cut out for a few seconds. Will be interesting to see where the signal settles out at with no tropo effecting it.

TVO 19.1 -- Flamethrower here in NW Miss. 2 separate TV's (2 separate antennas for each -- through splitter in reverse). Attic Installs with a whole lot of unused metal pieces still up there. 95 - 96% qulality on each TV.

Will likely be 100% after August 31st once I re-arrange for optimum.

Coming in great in WNW Mississauga. My PR-8800 is pointed about 130 degrees (for Buffalo) and I'm getting 65% on my Aquos. That's comparable to CBLT. Haven't checked my CM7000Pal yet.

I emailed my buddy near Lindsay about the transition and he emailed me back saying he's get 93% signal. He's using stacked 4228's on a 68' tower.

So is TVO in Toronto broadcasting in HD? The TVOKids programming I caught was definitely SD.

I'm in Batavia, NY and my DIY GH pointed at Toronto is pulling 19-1 in great with no problems. I haven't checked my signal meter yet.

With 32-1 the signal is strong enough and have manually added it in off the digital tuner on the tv .The issue is with the Dishnet dvr with OTA , you can manually see the signal 77% ,but the 32.1 assignment is not showing to allow it to be added in at this time.

TVO at 100% here at Yonge/Finch. Looks like they did a great job, unlike the now non-existent CHCH.

Beautiful strong signal in east Scarborough. Probably the best local signal now beating out CBLT. We've gained Midsomer Murders and Saturday night movies! It has incomplete programming information right now.
