Hey guys I'm looking to purchase a stand alone blu ray player for my home theatre system. I'm just confused on the whole Netflix and Pandora thing. Are they even available in Canada? Is there really any features on the new Blu ray players that make it worth while to get, being in Canada? I wonder if it's just better off to get a older version. Any suggestions would be great and any info you guys have would help out a lot.

Thanks for any input! Take care

Are you using a proxy, if so does it allow java?

Yeah, I think if you use a U.S proxy you should be able to sign up to either one. http://www.picturehoster.org/storage/241.jpg

The problem is I can never find a US proxy that supports Java (of course I usually don't spend too much time looking). With a Java supporting proxy we could use Hulu as well.

Another option to Pandora is Musicovery (http://musicovery.com/), its based in France and has no restrictions.
