hey ppl.......... interested in getting an alarm system installed into my house. Its allready all prewired for an alarm system, but im just confused on which one to get. I was originally thinking alarm force, but seems theres lots of unhappy clients out there, than adt, but they dont let you own the product.........and ive heard good things about the monitering system........what i would like is to own my own system, have a battery back up, get the homeowners insurance discount(which means i need to have it monitered)..........im new into the market, all help is great.......also any suggestions on a keypad? dsc?

IF you do a search of this site for "alarm system" you will find several previous threads discussing companies, equipment etc.

One of the least expensive is "The Monitoring Center", which appears to be available in parts of Vancouver - not sure about your area.
