Apparently police have been receiving a lot of calls from people receiving an email that gangs will assault or kill an elderly woman, child or woman in a local Wal-mart in the upcoming weekend

The email was first noted by Snopes in 2005 but apparently has been making the rounds again and people are phoning the police.

So if you get this email, you can still go to Wal-mart this weekend.

(as usual avoid your local post office ;) )

I'm confused.
If there are to be no killings this weekend, when exactly are they being planned for?

It's so hard to schedule my shopping trips around all this misinformation. ;)
