Please move if this is the wrong place to post, is there any forum just dedicated to cellular hardware?

For some reason my iPhone, updated to the latest version, will not connect to my D-Link router with WPA2 encryption. It has never worked with WPA2 regaurdless of the software version but does work on WEP. I live in a very large complex with about 40 wireless networks all of which are encrypted, most higher than WEP and anything thats WPA2 shows in my iphone but says "unable to connect"

By comparison my roommate's ipod touch (older version without the speaker) connects fine to the WPA2. Anything I can change or try to get this working? Thanks.

I'm using a D-Link DIR-655 with WPA2 and it works fine - I have the router set as follows -

WPA Personal

Mode: Auto (WPA and WPA2)

Cypher: TKIP and AES

Interval: 3600

I also have it set to Auto channel

I checked out the settings on the phone and didn't find anything noteworthy to report. Maybe a complete reset is in order - settings-general-reset

That can happen if you have inadvertently set MAC filtering to on (ie: blocking all devices except those on the list that you have specified). It can be very frustrating as you have put all the info (including the password) in correctly and it just won't connect.
