My HK receiver DPR 1005 is about 2.5 yrs old. Last night, when we were playing music loud, the reciever shut itself down. Since then every time I turn it on, it turns on and then turns off.

I suspected the speaker wires in the back and looked at all of them. That is not the problem now. I've basically disconnected everything from the receiver - the problem still exists.

I've left the receiver plugged off overnight - still nothing. All i have is receiver connected to the power - that's it ..no connections to anything.

It seem to have gone in a locked mode. Or something wrong with the hardware?

Its not under warranty. So wondering any one has seen this before?
