Lightbulb Non-EPG TV Listings for OTA

Does anyone know of a good site to organize TV listings? I have Yahoo "TV Listings" but it will only allow me to view the USA grid..

I'm looking for a custom TV grid listings with info on Canadian and US stations.

Thanks!

Schedules Direct

For certain Free and Open Source OTA apps like MythTV, VLC, and others, you can no longer use Zap2it's service. Zap2it was really great about offering a free R&D license to users until certain private companies began using Zap2it guide info without permission - they ruined it for everyone.

Now you'll need the XML-based Schedules Direct service, which was set up by several Open Source groups to specifically fill this need for Guide info:

I lookup listings using zap2it, its only missing like... 2 stations which I do receive, but those are the PBS subchannels, which wouldnt normally be in the area..
Just put in first 5 digits of postal code in place of zip code.

Hi Walter,

I tried the CUSTOMIZE function and put in the Callsign and Channel #. However, it can't find any of those stations, Analog or Digital.

Is there another TitanTV.com I do not know of?

There's only one, unless your ISP's DNS server has been hijacked, which I really doubt. For interactive websites, you generally need to have javascript enabled. Are you running Firefox with the Noscript extension, just like me? If so, you need to whitelist javascript from titantv.com. If you have scripting disabled, enable it at least for TitanTV.

I tried and tried using both Firefox, Opera and IE7 and nothing works. It can not find any of the Canadian stations as listed when you enter the Callsign with its respective channel number.

I enabled all Javascript and there is no block whatsoever. I prefer the TitanTV guide over Zap2it because it has no advertisement within the guide. However, if I can add the Canadian stations then I have to stick with Zapt2it.

Thanks

TitanTV doesn't recognize Canada ATSC channels you have to add them as analog.

Thanks Macros17,

That was the answer I am looking for. The way Walter explained it, I thought you can add it on the Digital side.

I am able to find those channels now.

Thanks everyone.

Sorry for the late response, but www.tvlistings.com (which is from TMS, which ran zap2it) works really well.

Question TV Listings for OTA?

I'm reliably recieving the 20 or so digital OTA channels available in the GTA, which is great. however the one major thing I'm missing is a TV guide.

TV Guide magazine is not available anymore. and the online sources I've found seem to be painfully slow, incomplete, and offer no quick, convenient easy way of printing a few days worth of listings (zap2it and yahoo.tv)

I've tried googling, but have been unsuccessful so far.

I was thinking of subscribing to one of the weekend editions of the papers (National Post, or Globe and Mail or other) just for the TV guide - I'm not an avid newspaper reader, I dont even know if they still come with a guide, and if they do, if it's any good.

I rely solely on OTA, but a decent (or even mediocre!) TV guide seems to be hard to find.

I live in Ajax, ON.

I'm wondering what other OTA'ers are using for listings / or a guide ? - Does such a thing exist ?
